Are CEREC crowns as strong as traditional lab-made crowns?
Yes. They are made from high-quality, solid ceramic blocks designed to withstand daily wear. Clinical studies show they are equally durable and, due to the precision of digital scanning, often offer a better, more accurate fit than traditional methods.

Do I need a temporary crown?
No. Because the crown is designed and milled in the office while you wait, you can skip the uncomfortable temporary crown, second appointment, and additional injections.

Does the procedure hurt?
The tooth is numbed with local anesthesia during preparation, just like a traditional crown, so you should not feel pain during the procedure.

How do I care for my new crown?
Treat it like a natural tooth. Maintain good oral hygiene and avoid chewing on very hard items like ice or candy to prevent breaking the ceramic.
