I have good news regarding your MetLife dental insurance and my office!
You may recall I recently wrote to you about my frustration for the past 4 years with MetLife and their refusal to negotiate or adjust our contracted fees. I am pleased to announce that MetLife representatives have now reached out to me and we have negotiated in good faith. As of today, we have reached an agreement and I am pleased to tell you that I will remain an in-network Preferred Provider of dental services to MetLife subscribers.
I have little doubt that MetLife’s decision to reach out to me and negotiate with me is a direct result of MANY of you reaching out to your employer, and to MetLife directly, to voice your displeasure with how they have acted towards me. Many of you have told me that you were going to complain and see if it would make a difference. It did. Your voices were heard, and heard loudly, by the people at MetLife.
To all who contacted your HR departments or MetLife directly I owe you a debt of gratitude. The confidence you have shown to me and your desire not to go elsewhere has touched me personally. Thank you!
